From South Bend, IN, Andriana Haygood started singing in her church and community at a young age which laid the foundation for her soulful sound. She is an alumna of Alabama A&M University and has earned her Bachelor’s of Music (BM) in Vocal Performance with a classical background. During her undergrad years at A&M, she served as Miss Alabama A&M University Choir, a member of the Vocal Jazz Ensemble, the American Choral Directors Association, and also a member of Sigma Alpha Iota International Music Fraternity for Women as the Dean of Vocal Music. She also sang in the 105 Voices of History Concert held at the prestigious John F. Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. and performed as a soloist there in more recent years.
After graduating from A&M, Andriana was a music teacher for Union Chapel Christian Academy grades K-12. She taught general music and choir. During her matriculation at Union Chapel, she was a volunteer private vocal coach for students participating in solo competitions.
Andriana is now working toward her Master of Music degree at Belmont University where she is studying Commercial Music Performance. She served as an Assistant Director to Dr. Kelly Garner for the Voxology Ensemble and recognized as a top performer in the Commercial Music-Voice department. She is also recording her first solo project which will be released in late 2018 and continues to perform across the country.
